Hi, summer is over, it's back to work and I'm very happy about it! I hope that you like going back to work because life is much more beautiful like that :-) I spent some time in a studio this summer, wanted to get the feeling of creating a new album and it work! So, this week is my first week in studio for my next album. It's a brand new exercise for me since it's going to be an album... of covers. Everything is permitted in the selection of songs, but the sound will be very specific, very bio-organic... I'll collaborate for the first time with a very talented and likable producer, more to come later. I'm sure that you're thinking of the covers you've already heard in my shows or the one I use to sing in bars, but don't be mistaken, it will be an important evolution in the sound and an exercise that will bring us to my next album of original songs. I'm working on, with a lot of friends, a majestic project for an exceptional event. My friend Guy Laliberté, founder of the world renowned Cirque du Soleil, will leave for the stars at the end of the month and yes, I'll will see my "buddy" leave for space. He's been training for several months at Star City in Russia. With the collaboration of his foundation One Drop, his goal is very noble: accomplish the very first poetic social mission in the history of humanity. Through this adventure, he will create a worldwide chain of mutual aid for the most essential need: WATER. I'll keep you posted. Fini les vacances, on se remet au boulot! C'est avec une grande joie d'ailleurs... j’espère que vous êtes de ceux qui aiment se remettre au travail parce que la vie est tellement plus belle comme ça :-) Cet été j'ai fait du laboratoire, histoire de me donner envie de faire un nouvel album et ça a marché! Je commence officiellement cette semaine en studio. C'est un tout nouvel exercice puisque je prépare un album...de reprises. Tout est permis dans le choix des chansons. En échange, le son sera bien précis. Bio-organique à souhait. Grâce a une nouvelle collaboration avec un réalisateur très doué et sympathique que je saurai vous révéler bientôt. Je vous entends déjà penser aux reprises de spectacle ou celles que je faisais dans les bars, mais détrompez-vous. Ce sera plutôt une évolution importante dans le son et un exercice préparatif pour le prochain album de chansons originales. Je prépare aussi, grâce à l'aide de plusieurs copains, une oeuvre majestueuse pour un évènement exceptionnel. Mon ami Guy Laliberté, fondateur du fameux Cirque du Soleil, partira pour les étoiles à la fin du mois. Et oui, je verrai mon "chum" partir dans l'espace! il se prépare déjà depuis des mois à Star City en Russie. Il fera ce voyage avec une intention très noble : faire la première mission poétique et sociale de l'histoire de l'humanité. Avec le soutien de sa fondation One Drop et par le biais de ce voyage, il va créer une chaine d'entraide mondiale pour la cause et le besoin le plus primordial, l'EAU.
